Baran Can KAYA
Founding Partner
Baran Can Kaya, graduated from the Faculty of Law at Kadir Has University in 2016. He completed his legal internship at Atasoy Law Firm, which is primarily specialized in Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law.
Attorney Baran Can Kaya was admitted to the Istanbul Bar on September 6, 2017. Following his admission, he worked for two years at a prominent law firm in Turkey, recognized for its expertise in Intellectual and Industrial Property Law. During this period, he provided litigation and legal consultancy services to numerous distinguished companies and later served as a partner at the same firm.
He continued his professional career under the umbrella of the law firm he founded, BCK Law Office, where he has been offering litigation and consultancy services to both individuals and corporate clients in the fields of Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Labor Law, Trademark Law, Real Estate Law, Inheritance Law, and Family Law. Since 2023, he has also been actively engaged in mediation as a mediator.
In March 2024, he successfully completed his postgraduate studies at Istanbul Medeniyet University with a thesis entitled “Directors’ Duty of Care in Corporate Governance: Legal,Technological, and Sustainability Perspectives”, which was unanimously approved. His thesis focused on key issues in Corporate Law.
In January 2025, he co-founded Okumuş & Kaya Law Firm with Attorney Eylem Okumuş, where he continues his legal practice.
Eylem OKUMUŞ
Founding Partner
Eylem Okumuş graduated from Istanbul Okan University in 2019. She began her legal career at Ravanoglu Law Firm, where she primarily worked in the fields of Consumer Law, Labor Law, Contract Law, and Enforcement Law.
She completed her legal internship at NSN Law Firm, during which she was actively involved in matters related to Transport and Maritime Commercial Law, Corporate Law, and Advertising Law.
Following her internship, she practiced as an attorney at Tam & Ertan Law Firm for approximately two and a half years, providing legal services to clients particularly in the areas of Transport and Maritime Law as well as Marine Insurance Law.
As of January 2025, she co-founded Okumus & Kaya Law Firm in partnership with Baran Can Kaya. She continues to provide legal consultancy and litigation services to both domestic and international clients.
